LOCATION

Canberra is an ideal base to explore Australia. The South Coast is only 1.5 hours drive from Canberra where you will find magnificent beaches, lakes and rivers. The area encompasses a range of National Parks and State Forests where there is great camping and hiking away from the crowds. The clubs and restaurants of Melbourne, and Sydney’s city beaches and harbor views are also easily accessible from Canberra, thanks to frequent bus services between the three cities. The Australian Alps or Snowy Mountains are just two-hour drive. The city itself, like many National capitals, is a city you can walk or cycle to explore the many museums, galleries, parks and government buildings. You can visit Australia’s Parliament House, home of the Federal Government, the High Court of Australia, the National Art Gallery and National War Memorial.

A word from our alumni
"The way in which the Australian students embraced the international students was wonderful. There was never a minute that I didn't feel like I had someone I could talk to or laugh with! Of all the things I miss the most from Australia, two of my close friends from my ressies hall rank right up at the top! I highly recommend all international students live in the ressies in order to get to know Australian students!"
