Overview

Among our many scholars of international standing are five winners of the Nobel Prize. Professors Peter Doherty and Bert Sakmann for Physiology and Medicine, and Professors Sir James Mirrlees and Clive Granger for their achievements in Economic Science. In 2010, Elizabeth Blackburn was the first Australian woman to be awarded a Nobel Prize and was recognized for her achievements in Science. Our researchers are also at the forefront of international scholarship in fields as diverse as human rights law, chemical engineering (David Boger), and telecommunications research.

LOCATION 

One of the advantages of studying abroad at the University of Melbourne is the campus location.
