Kimberly Tibbetts is a Colorado native that has been jet setting since she was young. Kimberly attended the University of Colorado – Boulder where she studied History and also studied abroad on a GlobaLinks Learning Abroad semester program at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2007, Kimberly began interning at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad while finishing up her final semester of university. In July of 2007, Kimberly became the Enrollment Services Coordinator and ultimately in 2009 took over as Manager, Short Term Programs for January and Summer programs. Through this role, Kimberly has had the opportunity to develop short term programs and work with students from a variety of different academics areas. Kimberly has attended NAFSA regional conferences and just recently attended a Fireside Dialogue on advising students hosted by The Forum on Education Abroad.
Kimberly has traveled extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia (both for work and pleasure) and recently travelled to Belgium, France and Switzerland to visit with family and friends. Despite living in Colorado, Kimberly loves the ocean and frequently visits family in Hawaii and travels to the South Shore of Boston several times a year to take in the New England Coast. While home, you will find Kimberly hiking and playing in the park during the summer and skiing the beautiful Colorado Mountains during the winter. Kimberly also plays on the Women’s Australian Football Team, the Denver Bulldogs, who are three-time National Champions.
