| AGRICULTURE Much of New Zealand's economy is based on agriculture and forestry, and nearly half of New Zealand's land area is used for primary production. These sectors are vulnerable to changes in the world's climate, both economically and environmentally, and make a prime location for studying agriculture. VETERINARY SCIENCE In New Zealand, veterinary science qualifications are completed at the undergraduate level, and programs are open to graduating secondary school students and university students seeking veterinary school. The programs are usually five years in length. While Veterinary Science programs are offered at several different universities in both Australia and New Zealand, Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and/or Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). This program will allow for the easiest transfer back to North America to practice as a veterinarian in either country. Each university has a different application process and intake options (based on previous undergraduate studies). Contact Us for more information. | Apply in 3 Easy Steps - Create a MyLearn Account
