The Adventure Philosophy Team

Outdoor education and leadership are some of New Zealand's strengths. Outdoor activities are a part of many Kiwi's lives and becoming a guide or instructor in any outdoor sport or activity is taken on with great pride, a solid education, and intense regulation. Three Kiwi outdoor adventurers united to form the Adventure Philosophy Team, which represents the core philosophy of many outdoor educators in New Zealand.

THE ADVENTURE PHILOSOPHY TEAM

They share this philosophy through their core values:

  • Inspirational role modelling
  • Personal adventure
  • Professionalism and integrity
  • High quality sharing via all forms of media

Adventure Philosophy believes in an adventurous spirit, the determination to pursue a dream or vision, the tenacity to overcome barriers, a willingness to take calculated risks, and a respect and affinity for the earth. Adventure Philosophy believes an adventurous spirit lies in the heart of people that make up a healthy society.
