| Environmental and Natural Resources programs are taught in the Faculty of Science. Our studies in this area focus on the biophysical environment. We research and teach about the atmosphere, oceans, rivers, soils, cryosphere and the role humans play within these systems. For undergraduate students, Macquarie University's flexible approach to study allows units in this field to be combined in several ways with studies in geography, geology, biology and other sciences. Postgraduate students can undertake a number of degrees coordinated by Macquarie University’s Graduate School of the Environment (GSE). The GSE has a very active research program with extensive funding from diverse government, industry and community sources, and local and international partners and collaborators.
