Science at University of Sydney is positioned as a leading provider in its field due to its wide range of specialisations and the strength of its research and industry links. Numerous coursework programs are available across a diverse range of specialities. Coursework programs may consist of a combination of lectures, practicals and tutorials, with progress being assessed by the completion of assessments and examinations. Some coursework programs may also require completion of a research project. Many of the coursework programs are articulated master’s programs. Students may enter a program at a range of levels.
Environmental Science at the University of Sydney consists of an undergraduate and a postgraduate program. The aim of these programs is to provide students with:
- an understanding of the many environmental issues
- how the various sciences and the environment are related, and
- how acquired knowledge can be used to solve environmental problems
