Financial Resources for American Students

Preparing your budget for the whole duration of your studies is probably the most important thing you can do before leaving home.

The costs of studying in Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. compare favorably with other study destinations and in many cases are often on par with or even less than what you would pay in Canada or the U.S., particularly for some Masters, PhD and professional degrees. In New Zealand, international PhD students pay the same as New Zealand students.

Be encouraged about the options available. Where there is a will, there is usually a way! Take the time to research the many options available, construct an annual budget for an academic year and a plan for your available resources.
